Mar 05, 2012 - Kelly Roach 68 Firebird
Our member from Medicine Hat sends along some info on his '68 Firebird.  This car comes with a 462ci- Muncie 4 speed, 4WDiscs, 3.08 Posi.  This car was done over 5 years in my garage. It started out life in ‘68 as a 350/T350, non-posi 2.56, 4W drum brake car. It was a white over red deluxe interior though. Most of the body was restored sometime about 10 years ago in Saskatchewan. I chronicled the entire restoration and more on a website at http://www3.telus.net/68bird/index.htm  if you are interested in learning more about the build. I have enjoyed driving the car every week over the season and look forward to attending as many car shows as I can squeeze in. It does get out every Wednesday night at 7:00PM when the weathers good in Medicine Hat at the Timmies across from the Beefeater. Several other Pontiac owners attend. Join Us!

Jan 9, 2012 - For Sale
I was going to through my metal diecast collection today. I need to reduce the number of my collection. Here are some Pontiac’s that maybe someone might be interested in buying? Basically I am open to offers on all of the ones below. They are all 1/18th ERTL American Muscle unless otherwise stated.

• 1993 Rusty Wallace NASCAR Miller Genuine Draft Black & Gold Grand Prix with original box. Number 2184 out of 5000 production.
• 1999 Ernie Irvan NASCAR M&M’s Grand Prix, no box in excellent condition.
• 1973 Red Pontiac Trans Am, no box in excellent condition.
• 1969 Orange Pontiac GTO “The Judge”, no box in excellent condition.
• 1996 Purple Firebird Trans AM, with box excellent condition.
• 1966 Gold Pontiac GTO, with box in excellent condition.
• GMP brand 1970 GTO Silver “The Humber” in box and in excellent condition.

I simply do not have the room in the new place to display these ones. I do have a lot of other brands of 1/18th diecast as well that I will be looking to sell in the near future. I will be creating a list once I get back from the Barrett Jackson car auction if anyone is interested?
If there is someone else who might be interested, please e-mail Don Meleshko (Edmonton)

Selling a 230 ci OHC with the 1 barrel carb, and a Pontiac 2-speed automatic transmission. I believe it runs, not sure of mileage. The car is NOT a Sprint. Price is $600 OBO for engine and trans... 65 Pontiac
This car is located near Three Hills and it last ran in the late 70's. As you can see from the photo's it has been outside so it will need a good work over. I was hoping to get $2000 for it but that might not be realistic as no offers so far.......I'll sell it for the best offer.
Thanks

I am looking for info on a couple things. First I have a 1948 Pontiac 4 door I just finished putting in a flat head 6 with the  tranny still attached to the motor. But now I can't seem to adjust the clutch pedal is that it stays up, Is there a spring that I am missing to hold this pedal up. Also is there anyone that still works on these cars I am sure there is, Ive been working on this thing since last Sept and almost have it ready for inspection but there are a couple of small things maybe not small, The clutch thing and I can't keep the brakes up, there might be a leak on the drivers side. If there is anyone looking to make some extra money. I would consider paying someone to fix some of the problems.  I can't work on it myself right now. I burned my hand last week when I had a gas line leak that started when the car back fired. My hand will be fine more a learning lesson for me and several fire extinguishes from my neighbours. Hope someone can help.    Thanks for your time,  e-mail reply to Mark

Hello Everyone. I was wondering if anyone knows where I might find a 65 Pontiac Parisienne Repair manual. I have gotten an in-dash tach from Ralph @ the GTO club and I don't know how to get the dash off to put the tach in. I also need to replace the volt gauge too. I boosted the car one too many times and pinned the needle. Any thoughts would be appreciated or if anyone has any pointers on how that would be great as well.
Thanks  Reply via E-Mail

My winter project is front disk brakes and improved suspension and steering on my 66 Grand Prix.  I have heard there are places that have the specifications and know-how to upgrade this vital component of safety and performance.  I have also heard that there are issues with this type of work on this model.  Any suggestions and ideas are gladly accepted.
